First - If you are trying to install Version 4.0 or 4.1 or 4.1 Network, be sure your operating system is Windows 95 or Windows 98. 

If you have any other operating system such as Windows ME, NT, 2000 or XP, you will need to upgrade your software to version 5.0 or later.

When I insert the CD ROM, my computer will not recognize the disk.

CheckWriter^TM is installed and now I get "Failed To Innitialize the Borland Database Engine"

After or during installation I got an MICR error.
