What is your refund policy?

Amazing as it may seem, customers asking for a refund may be the most valuable sales leads available.

People who are asking for a refund are giving you the opportunity to find out exactly what they are really looking for. It is a wonderful chance for you and your company to shine and, "be the hero," for your customer.

How does this work in a practical manner? Suppose a customer purchased a computer from you, or received it as a gift. Instead of the desktop computer they did get, they actually wanted a laptop.

This is a chance to find them the laptop of their dreams, and send the customer on the way with exactly what they want. What's even better, the help you provide will give the customer a very good memory of the entire experience.

If you have no compatible product or service available, be sure to stick by your established refund policy. Try to direct the customer to a store or web-site that would have exactly what they are looking for.

Customers who receive good advice will often return because they trust and value your opinion and guidance.

Having a clearly established and well posted refund policy is another way to stave off any customer service problems. This way people are well aware of the policies before they begin making

Use Your Website & Current Traffic to Generate Big Profits using "Related Keyword Affiliate Programs," and Links

If you have a website, you may have thousands of dollars in hidden profits locked up in, "similar keyword phrases."

Did you know "similar keyword phrases," are searched all day, all over the web? These visitors do not find what they want at your site, even though your site came up in their search. These otherwise useless visitors return to the search engine and try another link.

You may have hundreds or even thousands of visitors arriving at your site, and logging a "hit," yet buying nothing. These are known as "stray" visitors.

If you have a model airplane website, it is very likely you will have several visitors everyday who are looking for airplane tickets. They type in airplane tickets to their search engine, and click on your site.

Rather than hitting the back button, a simple affiliate link to priceline.com or expedia.com, could easily generate substantial revenue from these stray visitors.

Tapping into this market is simple using related affiliate programs. In this the model airplane example, a priceline.com affiliate link would land the site owner $5 for each new booking made via that link.

One stray visitor per day, sent in the right direction would net an additional $150 per month or $1,800 annually. Here are some great affiliate overflow examples you may want to consider.

Companies such as Amazon.com offer very low commissions, however, you can create direct product links to the site, making relevancy extremely high.

If you have a site on ice fishing, you can use Amazon.com to create direct links from you site, directly to books specifically related to this topic. Or, if you market web hosting services, you can stock related products such as Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Photoshop, or HTML 'how to' books, just by creating a direct link from your site to the product listing.

If you manufacture and sell computer hardware on the web, you can create a software section using affiliate vendors, or even offer some related hardware products your customers may be searching for.

If you do not stock the item, or you do not provide the service, but people are looking for it, there is tremendous profit to be made simply by pointing the visitor in the right
direction. These visitors will probably wind up at the very site you send them to, regardless of how they get there, so be sure you get credit for the sale.
