Why should I compost?

      You already want to go green.
    You already want to compost food waste.
    We all want to reduce waste sent to landfill.

Since we launched in late June, Allstonians have expressed support for, and excitement about composting. A select group of extreme supporters have voted with their pocket book to subscribe to the compost pickup service. Others have voiced a desire to be involved.

Thanks to the support of our new customers, we will be purchasing two compost tumblers to accommodate the winter compost. This will be our FIRST COMPANY PURCHASE! We are excited about the acquisition and very grateful to our supportive customers.

For those who are not yet participants, we are considering starting a "groupie" program where evangelists will spread the word about foodcycling, and the benefits of composting food waste.
